Neal Bischel
Neal Bischel received his BS in Industrial Management from Purdue University. He also received an MS in Business Economics from Claremont Graduate University and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Neal is a member of the St. Mary’s Graduate Business School faculty, teaching 7 classes per year in marketing management and marketing strategy. Neal has taught 50 graduate classes and 800 students since 2001.
Neal began his career in management as the Chief Information Officer in the Air Force at Edwards Air Force Base. He was responsible for development and implementation of applications for the Air Force Base management functions.
He joined IBM where he held numerous management positions in marketing management and human resources. He developed and taught training sessions for executives and professional staff which included life management programs, marketing development, and human resource management. He was also involved in the start up of several successful independent business units.
After leaving IBM, Neal became VP of Business Development and Marketing for five software and consulting companies. He was also responsible for international operations in two of those companies and developed several consulting practices as a practice leader. He was also a Director of Hitachi Data Systems and responsible for the software and services alliances.
Neal joined John Parry & Alexander, the predecessor of the firm EW Partners, Inc., as a Senior Associate in 2001. Worked with companies such as Converse shoes in restructuring the company, board of directors strategy development for financial and biotech companies such as Chiron and Bridge Bank. Areas of expertise are facilitation of strategy development meetings, management and planning; partnership strategy and implementation; general management training and personal development; executive recruiting; human resource management; and organizational development.
Neal Bischel and his wife, Susan, parents of four children, reside in Lafayette, California.
